What is hyperhydrosis?
Hyperhydrosis is essentially excess sweating. The level of perspiration impairs daily activity and can often mean people wear dark clothing or change their cloths frequently.

What to expect
Following a thorough consultation (including medical history and consent), Dr McCowan will prescribe the appropriate product for your needs. The area/s are cleansed and the product is injected under the surface of the skin in the underarm area.
This will dramatically reduce sweating from this area.
Timescale
Treatments usually work after 7-14 days and can last up to 3-6 months depending on the individual. The recommended treatment regime would be 2-3 times per year to ensure the best results for anti-ageing.

Aftercare
We advise only gentle cleaning of the face, using light pressure only for 24 hours. No makeup/creams for 24 hours, no strenuous exercise for 24 hours and no sun beds/saunas for 24 hours.
